:: About Morning Kawa ::

Welcome to Morning Kawa and thanks for stopping by my little space on the internet :)

:: About Me ::
From Michigan to Poland to Puerto Rico and Back Again

I first started Morning Kawa in June of 2013 when I moved from Connecticut to Wroclaw, Poland. I was traveling so much and European design was just so inspiring that I wanted to find a way to share it with you. Hence, Morning Kawa was born.

I love coffee more than almost anything and given that 'kawa' (pronounced kaVa) is Polish for coffee, I found the name for my blog fitting and it just kind of stuck ;) Not to mention, I pretty much write every post with a trusty cup of coffee by my side...

In November of 2014, I added a baby to the life mix and the blog kinda got put on the back burner for a bit (sorry!). Fast forward to May '15, when we relocated from Poland to Puerto Rico and the blog really got put on the backburner (sorry again).

Just a few months ago, I decided I had enough of the expat life and came back to my home state of Michigan after being gone 8 years! It’s good to be back - back to Michigan back to work and back to the blog :)

Though I no longer travel to Paris for the weekend, I love home decorating inspired by my experience. My time abroad has influenced who I am for the rest of my life and I love sharing it with you here on MorningKawa.com. Enjoy!
