::The Golden Tea Cup

So I have been spending a lot of time on Pinterest these days and you know what that means - I just had to find something to decorate! I just love our apartment, but in all honesty, our office desktop was looking a little sad. How can I write inspiring content in a non-inspiring atmosphere?!

So what did I do? I went to my favorite antique store here in Wroclaw for inspiration, of course.

And, that's when I found it...the golden tea cup and new theme for my office.

::Horseback Riding in the Mountains

Holy Cow! (or should I say, Holy Horse?) We just got back from an amazing weekend in the Czech Republic horseback riding through the hills. Though it is not quite 'glamping' (defined as: glamorous camping) it was one of the best trips of my life.

::Harvest Moon in Wroclaw

In celebration of the Harvest Moon from last week, here is a glimpse of what it looked like here in Poland.

::Wroclaw Water Fountain

I had some time to kill before a meeting one morning and I thought, "Why not practice shutter speeds and take some photos of the iconic Wroclaw Fountain in the Rynek?" They actually turned out pretty interesting so I decided I would share a few with you.

::DIY Halloween BOO Sign

As promised, here is the simplest DIY project EVER! A 'boo' sign. I have no idea what I am going to do with this yet but the possibilities are endless - flat on the candy table, hung on the door, set in the bathroom.... guess we will just have to wait and see where it ends up when I am decorating. Yeah! How many days until Halloween?
Honestly, I am not lying when I say this is the easiest project ever. Here is what you need to get started.

::DIY Halloween Ghost Garland

Turns out my DIY Mummy Invites were a huge hit - so I thought I would share a few more of my Halloween Craft projects that I have been busy preparing for our party. Here is a super simple project for all you DIYers out there: ghost garland! (Don't worry, the BOO Sign tutorial is to follow. Phew!)

::Polish Pottery In Wroclaw

I am sure you have heard of Polish Pottery before, especially if you are from the States. The funny thing is that when you get to Wroclaw, there are not a ton of stores that carry it for purchase, let alone these cool ceramic necklaces (made for about $10 USD)!

Where can you find it, you ask? Well, let me tell you.

::Ad Alert: OnePiece Berlin

So I have been waiting for the perfect chilly, rainy Fall day to share this with you all - and today fits the bill exactly. Lucky for you. Now you can be in on the secret!

::Dresden, Germany

As some of you may know, my goal is to travel to (at least) one new destination a month while we are living here in Poland. This month, our city was Dresden, Germany. Dresden is only a 2.5 hour drive from Wroclaw and is perfect for a one night getaway - not too big, not too small - it's just right! We were blessed with beautiful Fall weather as we walked the streets experiencing German biergartens, outdoor markets and fabulous scenery.

Welcome to Dresden. First Stop: The market for some beer and brats, of course!
And, in our typical vacation fashion, we just walked along the streets admiring the sights...

::Wroclaw Royal Palace

I bet you didn't know there was a palace in Wroclaw, Poland did you?!? Well - here it is and it is walking distance from the Rynek, which always makes life just a bit easier.

::Vienna Owl Update

I bet you all just can't stop thinking about my new owl from Vienna! You remember him, right?
Well...here is an update as to where he is now perched. Aww. So cute.

::DIY Halloween Mummy Invitations

I just can't contain my excitement any longer! We are throwing our very first Halloween party. YEAH! I have been getting a bit crafty with a little Halloween DIY over here in Poland. (So glad I packed my hot glue gun!)

First things first, let me share with you our party invitations. Isn't he cute?!

::Ad Alert {?}: Wroclaw

Ok, so this is not my 'typical' ad alert but, honestly, how cool are these images of the guys changing the billboard? LOVE.
These guys were wondering why I was taking their photo :) And... this is why one should never travel without camera. XO!

::A Horse Track in Wroclaw?

First of all, let me apologize for being away from you all the past few days! I've been busy soaking in every last drop of Summer! And, lucky you, one of those 'Summer drops' was a trip to the Wroclaw Horse Track called Partynice. (P.S. I love this name!) What's that you ask? There is a horse track in Wroclaw, Poland? Why, yes. Yes, there is.
